Yes, Today is the day! the new Avatar episode will finally air. As appose too all the other website and YTV itself. We all hope that they are not moving the episode to another date again! It will air tonight at our website so stay tuned!

  29. the episode will air at most by the middle of February or sometime soon. This is because of the release date of the next dvd release. There needs to be a certain amount of time between the airing date and the dvd date. And right now the dvd is in april. which means that the boiling rock is airing either tomorrow or REALLY SOON. So DOn’t worry guys!

  61. They should air it by now. People have been anticipating this episode for some time now. Instead of saying the wrong dates, they should’ve just told the REAL date when it would air rather than letting everyone’s hopes down everyweek. That way, people would feel secure. haha

  65. hey u guys. ive been reading all your comments and i just wanted to comment that i too checked on ytv’s website and it does say that the next avatar episode will air on feb 1st.

    Furthermore i checked the “EPISODE INFORMATION” and it doesnt state anything.

    Yes it may be early to determine that they will show the next episode, but i want u avatar fans to not get your hopes up too much b/c even though they may show an avatar episode it may be a RERUN and i know how u guys and i feel about RERUNS.

    So i just want u guys to keep this in mind and not desperately cling to feb. 1st. but im sure Stijnjasper will give us the heads up for next week.

    Well enjoy your week of another no avartar episode, but keep yourselves occupied so that when the day finally arrives you will be more excited and appreciative than ever.

  103. maybe nick is postponing avatar jus so for ratings and so tht we can watch all the other nick shows. Cause probbly millions of people were tuning in on the 25th to watch avatar but there was no avatar, but people were still tuning in to nick though. And it’s not the first time either. It’s been happening, and every time millions of people tune in. They won’t show another episode for a while and before they show this one they wanna suck out as much ratings as they can from it.

  111. Yah… I also have been waiting for the next episode of avater to come…. I thought it was already aired but i was totlly disappointed when i knew that they moved it agin… And about the avatar movie, I read some articles that there would really be a such and it will be directed by James Cameron and will be on the big screen on Dec. 2008, I’ve also read that the whole book 1 will be the story of the movie… well I guess it’ll have sequels too…but this will not anymore be in cartoons but real actors would play the roles,, I wonder who’ll play the aang role….. Was it already sure that the airing time of the boiling rock is on feb 1?

    Nick does host it’s shows online. But not every episode, and from what i can tell not always in order. I remember when I was catching up I couldn’t find Sokka’s Master on there, but I could find the eps before and after that.

    The reason they took this long was cauz the producers were working on the avatar movie. But atleast now we know when its REALLY coming.

    anyways. apparently the reason there aren’t any new avatar eps were because the writers/directors were planning for the future of avatar. they had to delay episodes in order for the timeframe from when ithe show ends to when the movie will start to produce. get it? shyamalan just finished shooting his movie ‘The Happening’ and slating the Avatar movie for a late 2009 release. Aang has already been casted.

  534. Sounds like a good theory. I’ve another thought – if Aang faces Ozai, will Zuko face Azula? And what will the others do? I think perhaps Sokka will find some way of freeing those trapped in the prisons so they can build up their army again.

    And King Boumi (sorry, can’t remember how to spell his name ^^;;) he said he was waiting until the right time to escape – so is he going to free his kingdom whilst Aang goes to fight the fire lord? Or will he join Boumi to free his Kingdom?

    I’m still a bit confused as to why they wouldn’t have a fourth book – they need Air to complete the set and there are still too many loose ends to tie up for them to just end it on Fire. I mean i they really wanted to end it on fire they could have just had the episodes ‘The day of Black Sun’ as the moment where Aang defeated the fire lord.
    Just seems too quick an end is all.

There’s also the added factor of those Sun Warriors, their existence in the world where everyone believed them to be extinct produces the possibility that Aang may not be the last airbender afterall, and even if he is there may be some people left from the airbending tribes who fled from the attacks and hid away for the last hundred years.

  564. I think that word will have travelled to the other nations of how the avatar attempted to fight the fire lord on the solar eclipse, so that may inspire others to build themselves up for a flashy final battle.

    There’s also Mai and Tai-Lee to consider. Mai dated Zuko didn’t she? So there may be a moment where Zuko appeals to her to join them; to choose between him and Azula, that’ll be something to watch too.
